Product Listing:

• Product Listing in Xcode ERP provides a platform where your customers can discover your products. It’s enabled by default if you’ve published Website Items in your system.
• To access the product listing, visit the /all-products route (e.g., here).
• There are two views available:
  • Product List View: Displays additional data, such as short descriptions, which can be mentioned in the Website Item’s “Short Website Description” field.
  • Product Grid View: Shows products in a grid format.
• Filters (Field Filters, Attribute Filters, and Discount Filters) allow users to refine their search.

Product Bundles:

• A Product Bundle is a master where you list existing items bundled together and sold as a set.
• Example: When selling a smartphone, you want to include the charger, cable, and sim ejector pin. Create a Product Bundle for the smartphone and list these items as “Child Items.”
• Product Bundles act like a “Bill-of-Materials” on the sales side.
• Steps to set up a Product Bundle:
  • Create a non-stock Parent Item (e.g., “Dinner Set”).
  • Add child items (e.g., smartphone, charger, cable, sim ejector pin) with quantities.
  • Use Product Bundles in sales transactions.

Items:

• Items represent products or services offered by your company.
• Types of items you can manage:
  • Raw materials
  • Sub-assemblies
  • Finished goods
  • Item variants
  • Service items
• Properly completing the Item Master is essential for successful Xcode ERP implementation.
• Key properties of an Item:
  • Item Name: The actual name of your product or service.
  • Item Code: A short-form identifier for the item.
  • Item Group: Categorizes items (e.g., products, raw materials, services).
  • Default Unit of Measure: The measuring unit for the product (e.g., Nos, Kgs, Meters).
• Other options include enabling/disabling items, managing alternative items, and maintaining stock.
